Maria Rutkin – CEO & Fractional CMO
With over 20 years of marketing experience, Maria Rutkin founded Rutkin Marketing in 2015 to help businesses overcome revenue growth challenges and drive sales. Together, Maria and her team specialize in developing integrated marketing strategies that clarify your message to resonate with customers, strengthen your brand presence, elevate the customer experience, and deliver impactful lead generation and marketing results.
As CEO, Maria Rutkin leads Rutkin Marketing’s growth and operations, overseeing sales, creative services, marketing, ad products, and business development. She brings expertise in marketing, management, and demand generation for early-stage, mid-sized, and large enterprises. With a proven track record of aligning marketing with sales, improving competitive positioning, and achieving consistent results, Maria combines her strategic vision with a hands-on approach while leveraging the unique talents of her team to drive client success.
She has supported clients across the technology, cybersecurity, SaaS, DaaS, healthcare, financial, and professional services industries, delivering efficient and effective operational management, strategic planning, execution, and KPI-driven outcomes.
Prior to founding Rutkin Marketing, Maria held these executive positions:
- CMO/VP of Marketing at Datamyx (now Deluxe): Achieved 40% revenue growth through integrated multichannel marketing strategies across financial sectors (mortgage, banking, consumer finance, and insurance) aligned with sales, driving demand and pipeline expansion for M&A.
- Product Marketing Manager at Kroll Ontrack (Kroll Inc.): Directed a team of 20 in launching content marketing and lead generation strategies, resulting in increased visibility and market share for this $180M SaaS leader in legal technology, forensics, and advisory services.
- Director of Marketing (VP Equivalent) at TrialGraphix: Increased revenue by 40% year-over-year through targeted demand generation, positioning TrialGraphix as a top choice for legal decision-makers within Fortune 500 companies and ALM Top 200 Law Firms, and got them through M&A.
A graduate of the University of South Florida in Tampa, she received her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Communications.
