The company caters to helping these institutions grow revenue through strategic targeting, lead optimization, retention, and cross-selling services. The company was originally founded in 1997 when financial institutions across the US were utilizing large data warehouse centers to run, manage, and optimize their direct mail strategies. With the regulators enforcing new requirements for lending, the pressure on financial institutions to meet prescreen credit data and consumer privacy requirements was growing. In an effort to ease stress and improve efficiencies for financial institutions, Datamyx had created Intelidata Express, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform giving marketers access to prescreen credit data from all three credit bureaus and to perform analysis on their consumer data to optimize their direct marketing efforts.
TURNING TO STRATEGIC MARKETING
As many growing companies do, they needed help developing a strategy that would strengthen their brand, attract top talent, create more demand, and grow the funnel. They were looking for someone who had the strategy and analytical chops, while understanding how to execute. They were not interested in a magic show, but rather needed someone to develop and execute the plan, and dig into the numbers to build the benchmarks and prove they were moving in the right direction, or if not, direct them to where to go next.
They learned about the strategy of how content marketing can drive prospects and leads for companies – and were somewhat familiar with the success other companies were having with this approach. So they turned to Maria Rutkin who created and implemented a marketing strategy and plan that included creating content to publish in HubSpot, built landing pages for lead generation, and tracked marketing metrics monthly, among other initiatives. The program was starting to prove itself to Datamyx and the team was happy with the direction they were heading. They continued to attract top talent and grow so well that they were acquired by Deluxe Corporation, which is one of the two largest check printers in the US and provides personalized products and services to small businesses, financial institutions, and consumers.
